Ashley Shepherd
My name is Ashley, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned my Bachelor of Social Worker (BSW) in 2015 from the University of North Texas and my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2022 from the University of Houston.
My specialties focus on supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate death loss, major life transitions, and peer/romantic relationship challenges. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and promote body positivity and self-worth. I’m especially passionate about group therapy as a space where individuals can build meaningful community.
Whether you are in-person or online, I’m here to support you. Navigating the complexities of grief can feel overwhelming and isolating. My goal is to support individuals and families in breaking unhelpful patterns and stepping more fully into your authentic self. I take a strengths-based, intersectional, and trauma-informed approach to create a supportive space where people can reconnect with their bodies and emotions. I’m committed to creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself openly, explore who you are, and build on your unique strengths.
I invite you to chat and see if we are a right fit to work together. Feel free to email or call me and we can setup a consultation call. It’s a meaningful privilege to work alongside individuals and families in ways that honor their needs and experiences.
